Both digitally and analogue: OeTTINGER employees financially support children's and youth projects
This quarter, the EUR 2,500 donation by the OeTTINGER Brewery personnel development program is going to two lucky winners. André Faust (Transport) is donating his half to Neuwerk Community Elementary school. The other EUR 1,250 will go to Dirk Smits (Quality Control) and will be used to benefit the Kempen Computer and Multimedia Club e.V.
The current crisis situation is not just particularly challenging for adults; children and young people also have to cope with changes to their routine, such as schools closing and a lack of free-time activities. This is precisely where this quarter’s donation received by these projects from employees at OeTTINGER Mönchengladbach hopes to make a difference. A delighted Jürgen Brunacker (Technical Site Manager) says: “The huge variety of wonderful projects that our employees are involved in, for which they make their application for the donation, never ceases to amaze me. The youth of today are our future. The fact that they have not been forgotten even in these difficult times is especially heartwarming – a prime example of how OeTTINGER Brewery takes on corporate responsibility.” Thanks to André Faust, Neuwerk Community Elementary School has EUR 1,250 to invest in new playground equipment and to create the school garden. With its donation from Dirk Smits, the Kempen Computer and Multimedia Club e.V. will buy tablets to run courses for socially deprived children and young people.
