Monde Selection 2021: Original OeTTINGER Weissbier wins gold again

A Monde Selection Award is to international breweries what a star in the Michelin Guide is to top chefs. And we have achieved this honor yet again for 2021 after a Monde Selection gold medal was awarded to our export hit – Original OeTTINGER Weissbier in a can.

With this award, the renowned testing institute based in Brussels has once again confirmed the outstanding product quality of our internationally in-demand classic. Following three consecutive years of gold, our cans of export Wiessbier have now even won the High Quality Trophy twice to boot! 

The significance of the Monde Selection Awards is reflected not least in the sheer quantity of tested products. This year, the international jury evaluated a total of 3,100 products from 90 different countries. The fact that we have once again managed to impress such a discerning panel of Monde Selection tasting pros is as good a reason as any to raise a glass and make a toast: Cheers!
