OeTTINGER Brauerei supports sporting employees' clubs

Do good and spread the word! True to this mantra, OeTTINGER Brauerei GmbH has now for the second time presented awards to employees of the company who volunteer in their free time to help a non-profit making organisation or a special project. The commitment of three employees was recognised at the Mönchengladbach site as part of the company’s new staff development scheme.

Kerstin Müller, Assistant to the Management, presented a symbolic cheque for €1,000 to Andre Dammer (Bottling department / 1st FC Mönchengladbach 1894) and Thomas Bekkers (Bottling department /SV Mönchengladbach 1910 Club e.V.). A further cheque for €500 was presented to Rüdiger Pohl (Shipping / OH-DO-KWAN Martial Arts Club e.V.).

OeTTINGER Brauerei GmbH initiated its staff development scheme at the end of last year. It is to become an integral part of the company’s corporate culture. Since then €2500 has been available to every site every quarter. The money, which can be allocated as a lump sum or divided into smaller amounts, is to be used to support sporting, cultural or even charitable activities close to the heart of OeTTINGER brewery employees.

Meanwhile the third staff development round is already under way. New suggestions concerning a number of terrific projects are once again being submitted at the different OeTTINGER breweries. Any suggestions that could not be considered in the first two rounds of awards can also be included in the selection for the August award.
