Staff development – 1st quarter of 2016

True to our mantra, “Do good and spread the word”, we would like to present to you today the projects that received a bonus in the staff development scheme in the fourth quarter of 2015. We are especially thrilled that our donations are primarily benefiting work with young people in the clubs and associations.

In Oettingen Thomas Härtle (Shift Leader) received €1,200 for the Hubertus Shooting Guild in Deiningen, where the archery division would like to use the funds for taster courses and youth training. €800 went to Georg Wiedemann (Electrical Workshop) and the Pfäfflingen Trombone Group. New instruments are to be bought for the young brass musicians. Marie Schachner from Accounts Payable received a total €500 for the Auhausen Voluntary Fire Service, which is to be used for the children’s fire service.

The following three projects were pulled out of the draw in Gotha: €1,000 went to Michael Bezold (Bottling) to foster young footballing talent at SG Jugendkraft Crawinkel. Patrick Sieber (Maintenance) received €750 for SV Frisch Auf Tüttleben, which is to be used in the Football and Gymnastics sections. Thomas Körfer (Production) also received €750 for the promotion of young fire engineers as Warza Fire Service Association.

Marcel Fischbach (Production) will be able to support the youth work of the 1919 Vorst Sports Association with €875 in Mönchengladbach . € 875 are also going to Christof Baur (Bottling) and SV Mönchengladbach 1910. Dirk Smits (QA) received €750 for the “Animal Protection in Willich e.V.” charity.

The two winners in Braunschweig each received €1,250: Olaf Günther (Fleet) for the Werlaburg WF Motorcycle Friends and Thomas Reese (Bottling) for the Dettum Mill Association.
