Staff development - 3rd quarter of 2017
Do good and spread the word! True to this mantra, OeTTINGER Brauerei GmbH has now for the third time this year presented awards to employees of the company who volunteer in their free time to help a non-profit organisation or are involved in a sporting, cultural or social way with personal projects.
Operations Manager Winrich von Bierbrauer presented Andreas Rösler with a cheque for €500 for the “Westend” Horticulture Society e.V.
Operations Manager Florian Fahr toasted two magnificent projects with Jens Pflüger (€1,000 for the construction of a beach volleyball court for TSV 1869 Sundhausen) and Florian König (€1,500 for the youth camp and repair of the “Aue” Angling Society’s clubhouse).
The latest award round saw €1,000 going to Nico Dürrwanger to help equip the young bugle players of the Nördlingen District Hunting Association e. V., €750 to Sàndor Zoboki for the Wallerstein Tennis Club, and a further €750 to Bernd Hilper, whose donation goes to the Oettingen Art and Culture Initiative e. V. Music, sport and culture produce a balanced mix and reflect the wide bandwidth of activities in which the brewery’s employees are involved on a voluntary basis.
